Pumpkin is rich in Vitamins A and C, Zinc, Enzymes and Antioxidants. These essential nutrients help heal, brighten, and protect your skin. What makes these components of pumpkin so important? Antioxidants, like vitamin C, Fight Free Radicals. Free Radicals cause skin damage and come from environmental stressors like UV rays (excess sunlight), and Pollution. This makes pumpkin a perfect way to Repair Sun-Damaged Skin! Pumpkin puree contains many Proteases/Proteolytic (protein-dissolving) Enzymes, similar to papain and bromelain.
